We specialize in therapy for children and families. Through the use of toys, games, and creative play, we help children and their families manage a variety of challenges of their past, present, and future.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. We have experience in counseling individuals dealing with such emotions and a range of many others. We counsel children, teens, and adults. As in all of our counseling approaches, we aim to help clients arrive at where they want to be. The number of sessions depends on a number of factors.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger after traumatic events. We have experience in the process of grief and healing. This includes children with histories of trauma. Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is an intervention we utilize in helping such children and their families.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection in all stages of their relationship. We offer a series of 8-10 sessions of marriage preparation for engaged couples, and we offer various forms of marriage counseling. For many couples, a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions is what they need to to better strengthen their relationship.
We are committed to helping individuals, couples, and families find what they need for strength, healing, and wholeness.
A keystone is the wedge-shaped stone at the top of an arch. It is the final piece which locks all the building stones into position, allowing the arch to bear weight. If the keystone is not in place the structure cannot stand. For some clients, the keystone is the counseling process in which a professional counselor helps them to live with greater intentionality to identify and maneuver the building stones that make up their lives. For others, the keystone is a reality that helps them establish wholeness in their lives.
